Shedding some layers despite the rainy weather, Diane Kruger makes a splash at Elle's 17th Annual Women in Hollywood Tribute in Beverly Hills, CA on October 18. Di arrived at the Four Season Hotel dazzling in a flaming red dress with an exaggerated racerback (check out Jenny Han's Corsage Dress in Burnt Orange or Black Halo's Gabriel Mini in Red to light up the room at your fall gatherings), giving the dress a summery feel when paired with a gold Jimmy Choo clutch (try Whiting & Davis' Shirred Frame Clutch in Gold) and tan strappy wooden heels (like Farylrobin's Imogen in Gold). As a finishing touch Diane added a sparkly gold bracelet (opt for Accessories & Beyond's Gold Bangle Bracelet in Brown) and diamond studs, pulling her hair back into a side braid finished with a messy bun. What do you think of Di's svelte look, is it October appropriate? Red is one of my favorite shades, so this plus the easy hairstyle win it for me. The Women in Hollywood event was sponsored by Calvin Klein's Beauty fragrance this year, which Diane happens to be the spokeswoman for. She shared with the press what a difficult decision it was for her to put her face on a fragrance: "I love Calvin Klein and I knew the advertising was going to be beautiful… I'm not a model anymore and I have no interest in doing that again. There needed to be an emotion and something that really embodied the essence of that specific perfume. I personally really like the picture… I was a little worried that it was going to be too racy or too provocative because that's not really what I'm like, or the kind of clothes I like.
