BARING HER BRA... AGAIN?

Looking very rested after taking a few weeks off work, Katie Holmes stands by her man at the NY Times Style Magazine's Pre-Golden Globe Awards Party at the Chateau Marmont in LA on January 15. It's pretty much the norm for Tom to have an iron grip around his wife, but at this particular event he had an extra reason to hold her close: ex-fiance Chris Klein was also in attendance! Trying out a sassy sheer look, Katie wore a puff sleeve knit Lyell dress, leaving her bra exposed (for similar cheeky looks, try Gold Hawk's CB Sheer Overlay Dress in Black or Graham and Spencer's V-Neck Tunic in Black). KH wore a very similar 'fit to the Elle "Women in Hollywood" tribute a few months ago and clearly she still hasn't gotten this look right. As one insightful blogger put it, if you're going to show us your bra at least give us something worth looking at! Katie paired her semi-racy look with black peep-toe Givenchy booties (add an exciting element to your 'fit with Coye Nokes' Josephine T Platform Bootie in Black/Ginger) and an embossed black clutch (love the detail on Whiting & Davis' Iridescent Boa Fold Over in Black). Super straight locks and a tad more blush than usual complete Katie's pre-GG ensemble. What do you think of her 'fit here, especially the exposed bra – does it work for her or has it been done too many times? Besides avoiding an awkward run-in with her ex, Katie mingled with Diane Kruger, Sophia Coppola and Chloe Sevigny at the event, while her other half said hello to Tropic Thunder co-star Ben Stiller and actor Woody Harrelson. For a pre-GG bash this sounds like quite a shindig – wonder if Katie knew all those stars were going to catch a glimpse of her lingerie?
