Looking a little worn out, Katy Perry arrives at LAX in Los Angeles on July 16 to catch a flight to the Bahamas with younger brother David Hudson. KP headed to the Caribbean for a mix of work and play, performing for a sold-out crowd at Atlantis Paradise Island in Nassau on Saturday and spending the day soaking up the sun with pals on Sunday. Nothing a California Gurl can't handle! Katy jetted out of the US in a typical quirky look, combining a bright yellow dress (check out Wit.'s Satin Print Ruffle Romper in Yellow/White or Boulee's Olsen Tented Dress in Yellow Print) with white lacy leggings and tan flats (try Gwyneth Shoes' comfy Kenzie in Taupe). I love the dress, but it looks like she has bits of toilet paper stuck to her legs. Whatever floats your fashion boat, KP! Always one to accessorize, Katy added a pair of fun teardrop earrings (opt for Robyn Rhodes' Tia in Light Blue), a couple of layer necklaces (love the subtle sparkle of Tiger Lily's Small Black Crystal in Black) and a simple silver bangle (add some inspiration to your look with Christie Martin's Thin Bangle Bracelet in Silver). What do you think of Katy's laidback look, does it work for her or does it fall flat? Even if her style fails sometimes, KP has been dominating the summer music charts lately, and was just named Billboard's queen of the Songs of the Summer chart, ranking #1 above Usher's "OMG" and ex-bf Travie McCoy's single "Billionaire" coming in at #4. Success has to feel good for her! No matter where fame takes her, Katy has vowed to stay true to her good-girl roots, and she recently took to Twitter to shoot down rumors she was blasting Miley Cyrus for going the "Britney route." Katy mouthed off: "Rumor control: I never said sh-- bout my girl Miley. I love that ho. Mags should stop pitting girls against each other. We all can co-exist!" Doesn't get any clearer than that!
