BACK TO SCHOOL BABE

Charming us with her youthful ways, Sophia Bush kicked off the "OPen Campus" launch party at Mel's Diner in West Hollywood on July 7. Opting for a casual back to school vibe (and wearing all OP, mind you) Sophia hung out with the other young celebs featured in OP's fall campaign for Wal-Mart, including Brody Jenner, AnnaLynne McCord and B's little sis Solange Knowles. Pairing cute short-shorts (try Woo's casual Kat Shorts in Overcast) with a plain white tank (like Splendid's Light Jersey Tank in White) and a cozy brown cardigan (similar to Splendid's 1x1 Long Cardigan in Coffee), Sophia added a little glam with teetering Miu Miu platforms and a flashy gold Coach box clutch. Seems like your everyday "back to school" look, but Sophia spiced it up with a gold jeweled clasp cinching the back of the cardigan and a gold statement necklace (check out Robyn Rhodes' layered Grace Necklace in Gold). Tres chic! To top it off, Sophia celebrated her 27th birthday at midnight, christened with a b-day shout-out from the paparazzi king, Perez Hilton himself. I'd say the best part about the gift is that he didn't have anything bad to say about her 'fit! Now that's a doozy – do any of you faithful Perez readers think he's backed off a little since the whole will.i.am incident?
