BACK TO BLONDE

Debuting a brand new look, Christina Aguilera is barely recognizable under her newly revamped blonde tresses at a charity function hosted by Susan Sarandon at NYC's Lincoln Center on September 12. Talk about a 180! Christina strutted her stuff at the event celebrating John Lennon's 70th, the unveiling of a Montblanc education initiative and a screening of the new film Nowhere Boy all in one night. Getting glammed up in D&G, Christina worked the red carpet in a curve hugging black strapless frock (get the classic look with James Perse's Tube Dress in Black or Wish's Contact Bandeau Dress in Black) paired with peeptoe Christian Louboutins (add a textural sheen with Coye Nokes' Jacqueline 70 Peep Toe in Black) and a large butterfly ring (if you're a fan of the free spirited emblem try Moss Mills' Ava Ring in Light Gold). Fresh platinum extensions and a healthy bronze glow complete Christina's transformation from hot mama to blonde bombshell. What are your thoughts on her take on the classic LBD, is this tasteful or trashy? I think she's pumping this up with just a tad too much va-va-voom, but she looks amazing so I really can't discredit her too much. Christina has been known to reinvent her look periodically – do you think she's done a good job this time?
