Heading off for a day of work in New York City, Katy Perry puts her thinking cap on while arriving at the studio on April 14. KP's style is always a kitschy mix of color and shapes, and this look is no exception. Katy started with a pink and black tie dye tank with a big pink star pin (get the pseudo 60's look with Rough Roses' Hudson Racerback in Black/White) over black skinnies (Rich & Skinny's Legacy in Black are an ultra flattering pair) and black patent sandals (I'm lusting for Gwyneth Shoes' new Athena T Strap Sandal in Grey). KP layered up on accessories, shading her face with a grey fedora, blue mirrored aviators and a long rosary inspired necklace (I like Jessica Elliot's Wrought Iron Clover Necklace in Silver). What do you think of KP's quirky cool look? Besides posting some scary bridezilla photos of her fiancé Russell Brand on Twitpic, KP has kept pretty quiet about her wedding plans so far. BFF Rihanna spilled a few beans while chatting with KIIS FM host Ryan Seacrest last week, revealing that she's the leading lady planning Katy's bachelorette bash: “I have to come up with something cool ’cause she’s getting married in India, so I’m like, what do I do to match that for a bachelorette party?” Belly dancing male strippers, perhaps? RiRi also dished the party will be held at the end of the year before the quirky couple dash off to India, where they got engaged last winter. Can't wait to hear more deets on what they're planning – and if Katy will really be the one in the tux!
