Beyonce was photographed looking ready to pop in New York on January 5, just days before giving birth to her baby daughter Blue Ivy Carter last night. Congrats are definitely in order to the proud mama B and father Jay-Z! But before I begin to dish on all of the happy details, let's discuss Bey's NYC ensemble. The gorgeous songstress started with a classic black blazer (like Elizabeth & James' Cate Blazer in Black) that she wore over a multicolored printed Alexander McQueen scarf (I love the unique look of Meghan Los Angeles' Ning Scarf in Black Butterfly) paired with dark wash skinny jeans. Siwy's Hannah Jean in Intense are a great option. From there, Beyonce toted a vibrant Chanel tote and wore ladylike gold heels with a matching oversized cocktail ring (for something similar, try Robyn Rhodes' Kimberly Ring in Gold). News, "Beyoncé and Jay-Z welcomed a daughter Saturday night in New York, the little one's arrival coming via scheduled C-section." The power couple named their baby girl Blue Ivy Carter, and not Ivy Blue as originally reported. Beyonce's sis Solange took to her Twitter to clear up the name confusion, saying: "Information that goes through the telephone, always gets delivered wrong." Allegedly, Beyonce, for the birth, rented out the entire fourth floor of the Lenox Hill Hospital under the name of Ingrid Jackson. The cost of renting out the entire floor? Oh, just a measly $1.3 million. Wow! Congrats again!!
