ASHLEY THE ROLE MODEL?

Ashley Tisdale was greeted by a ton of photographers, reporters and fans at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards earlier this evening, August 9, at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City. Ashley was rockin' it on the red carpet wearing a Used/Unused bustier and skirt and studded Christian Louboutin stilettos. Ashley has made quite the impression for those younger fans of hers, as her latest film, Aliens in the Attic, has done pretty well at the box office. Of her idols, Ashley says, "Vanessa Hudgens and I were at the American Music Awards, freaking out because we were sitting next to Celine Dion. Then she turned round and thanked me for bei ng a role model for her son. There we were; new best friends with Celine. And Ihad always looked up to her. She continued, "I don't see myself as that because no one is perfect. But when kids say it I feel it's cool because I never try to be anything other than myself. My mom was my role model as a kid, never celebrities. Kids need people that are reachable and for me it was my mom because she is confident and strong. I've been in the business since I was three and she's been with me every step of the way. Even now I want to make my parents proud and never let them down."
