ANOTHER YEAR OLDER, ANOTHER NEW BEAU

For the first time in awhile, Jessica Simpson looks elated while seeing the sights in Capri, Italy on a vacation celebrating her 30th birthday on July 9. Jess walked hand in hand with new boyfriend Eric Johnson, a former NFL player, making a few stops to shop as they made their way around the city. Jessica wore a fabulous flowy caftan (brighten up in Rachel Pally's Caftan Dress in Salmon or Woo's Kym Dress in Coral) with a matching halter top, checking out the city in wooden platforms (get elevated this summer in Farylrobin's Imogen in Brown) with a playful braid in her hair. Jess added a pair of sparkly hoop earrings (love the island vibe of Calico Juno's Fresh Water Pearl Hoops in Gold) and protected her peeps with dark sunnies, letting her over-the-top cover-up billow around her. What do you think of Jessica's bold daytime look, does it work for her? I think if anything the bright, sunny hue reflects her new happiness with her new man. While Jess has certainly had her share of downer ex's, it looks like things are going well with this one. A few friends also came on the Capri trip with the couple, and were spotted surprising Jess with a cake and singing "Happy Birthday" the following day. Too cute! Although she looks super happy while hanging with her man, some of Jessica's girlfriends are worried she's taking things too fast with her new man, telling the paps: “Jess is definitely rushing into this.” She added Eric has even introduced Jessica to his family at his grandparent's 60th wedding anniversary party – talk about a big entrance!
