Jessica Simpson was spotted paying a visit to stylist BBF Ken Paves in Beverly Hills on November 20, joined by Papa Joe and gal pal CaCee Cobb at Ken's salon before heading out to lunch. For her casual day look Jess paired a classy blazer (try Alice + Olivia's Billy Boy Blazer in Black, hot item for this winter!) with a slouchy boyfriend tee (like Zoa's Big Boyfriend T-Shirt in Purple) and a pair of ripped bootcut jeans that look like she forgot to take them to the tailor (for the same leg lengthening look without the drag, try 7 For All Mankind's Rocker in Vintage Paxton Park). She's been rocking the you-can't-see-my-shoes look for a few years now, a la Victoria Beckham. Are any of you for or against this trend? JS completed her look with shady black sunnies and a glitzy sequined Valentino hobo with a signature ribbon closure. Gorgeous bag, but IMO, a huge sequined hobo is a little much for everyday (instead go with a fun accent bag like Moyna Handbag's Sequin Clutch in Gold/Pewter with a fun stripe pattern perfect for holiday galas). Do you think this 'fit works for her? This past week Jessica celebrated her nephew, Bronx Mowgli's 1st birthday with little sis Ashlee and rocker husband Pete Wentz, but somehow their happiness became the subject of one of Perez Hilton's infamous vicious rants. After seeing all 3 of the above Tweeting about little BM's bday, Perez seized the opp to rip them apart, “It’s been one year since Asslee pushed Bronx Mowgli through her vayjayjay and it’s all the family is talking about!” Taking a dignified stance, Jess responded (on Twitter, of course): “Does Perez Hilton…whatever his name really is… have no heart at all? Don’t ever attack my family again.. Sad to know u hate so deeply. Sad 4 U.” Way to go Jess for standing up for her family! And also so tragic Perez Hilton has been punched in the face and still doesn't know when to draw the line. Are any of you fans of his commentary?
