"90210" star AnnaLynne McCord was spotted hosting Planet Funk’s Fashion Week Kick-Off Party presented by LA Direct Magazine (which she just happens to be on the cover of their new issue!) at Kress Supper Club in Hollywood on October 10. AnnaLynne stuck to black and white (with a pop of gold in the shoes) for her red carpet appearance, starting with a basic white cami (like Zoa's Logo Camisole in White) and pairing with a black vest (similar to Black Halo's Shawl Collar Vest in Black). Next up came a pair of straight leg black denim (like James Jeans' High Rise Straight Leg Jean in Black Flex), along with a high-impact oversized belt that I don't think I'm too fond of and a black clutch (like Julie K Handbags' Sasha Clutch in Black Glaze). She finished her look off with a wavy updo and a thick black leather cuff. I feel like this girl always has some sort of edge to her whenever she is photographed at an event, and I like it! Spices up the generic Hollywood scene a bit. While people seem to think that there is a bit of a battle between the new "90210" and CW staple "Gossip Girl," Annalynne is speaking out about who would win in a contest for best makeup. She says, "We beat the makeup by far, I’ll tell ya that! But oh my god, Leighton [Meester]– I love her. She rocks that show." I have to say I agree with her, I love me some Blair Waldorf. But then again, I am pretty loyal to Little J!

Annalynne McCord was spotted looking lovely at the 2008 Pre-Emmys DPA Gifting Lounge in Beverly Hills on September 20, along with many other celebs hoping to scoop up as much free swag as possible. Hey, I'd do the same thing if I could! Sporting a long, ruffled purple dress (Lotta Stensson's Long Gathered Tube Dress in Plum is a jersey version of Annalynne's in a similar shade) with an oversized white bracelet (check out Rachel Leigh's Panel Bangle in White for a similar look) and gold linked necklace (Marnie Rocks' 14k Gold Filled Chain Double Necklace is a similar and a bit more dainty), Annalynne looked gorgeous as always. She is definitely growing to be one of my favorites of the crop of new starlets! And just as a side note, after the premiere of the new "90210" I wasn't sure how much I liked the show, but I think it just keeps getting better after every episode. What are your thoughts on the new show? Annalynne is speaking to the press about her take on her character Naomi, the "bad girl" on "90210." Of the role, she says, "She's got daddy's money and she likes to spend it, but she's very intelligent. Initially, you'll label her as a bitch, but you'll quickly see that she goes through so much that you almost understand why she's got an edge to her. She is kind of a chameleon, so she manipulates a lot to get her way. It has to be Naomi's way or the highway, so she'll be someone with the principal and then someone else with her mother and then someone else with her friend." I love characters like this that have a lot of depth to them, and I think that Annalynne might just be the perfect actress to tackle this interesting role. Plus, I loved her on "Nip/Tuck"!

Star of "90210" and all-around seductress AnnaLynne McCord hit up Nylon Magazine's TV Issue Event featuring "90210" last night, September 4, at Tropicana Bar at the Roosevelt Hotel, sizzling in front of the cameras in a tight black leather dress.
