Taylor Momsen AKA Little J on "Gossip Girl" was seen strolling through NYC with mom Collette yesterday afternoon, May 15, doing a cute little strut for the paparazzi as the two made their way from a coffee shop. TM kept her outfit simple and flattering, pairing a high waisted black mini skirt (like Black Halo's High Waist Pleated Pocket Skirt) with a simple white tank (I love the extra detail on P.G.D. Style's Babydoll Tank in White) and nude heels. Taylor then completed her look with a classic black trench coat (similar to Suzabelle's Umbria Trench Coat in Black), a black hobo bag, a pair of Ray-Ban Wayfarers, and a black and silver beaded rosary (for an Irish inspired necklace with rosary influences, take a peek at Jessica Elliot's Wrought Iron Clover Necklace in Silver). What are your thoughts on Momsen's street style here, is this something that you would wear just kickin' around town? It seems like all of the "Gossip Girl"'s are super into dabbling into the world of music lately, as Leighton Meester will be coming out with an album this fall (her single "Good Girls Go Bad" is a collaboration with Cobra Starship and is already generating positive buzz) and Taylor's band, Pretty Reckless, has been signed with Interscope Records. Taylor calls this an "honor," and Jimmy Iovine, the chairman of Interscope Geffen A&M Records, echoes her sentiments. He says, "Taylor has an incredible presence and when she decided to make Interscope her musical home, we were thrilled." Are any of you out there excited to hear what Tay's band has to offer?
