AN ALBUM ALL HER OWN

Kicking off her new album release, Taylor Swift performs on The Today Show in NYC's Rockefeller Plaza on October 26. T premiered the title track "Speak Now" on the show, performing her hit songs "Mine" and "Love Story" for jubilant fans. Despite the chilly morning Taylor rocked out in a sparkling sequined mini (check out Karen Zambos' Benatar Dress in Grey or Luc by Lucy's Holiday Sequins Dress in Grey) with flat black boots balancing the bling (like Farylrobin's Lance Knee High Boot in Black) and a few dazzling diamond bracelets (check out Amrita Singh's Kimberly Bangle in Silver). I'm loving that T's guitar has the same silver sequins glittering on the front – very festive! What do you think of Taylor's early morning look? She doesn't look like the happiest camper, but neither am I when I have to be in hair and makeup at the crack of dawn! In additional to her performance, T chatted about the positive response her album has already garnered: "Oh, my gosh! It's unbelievable when you put two years of your life into something, having it be received like that is incredible. I'm so happy because this album means a lot to me." She elaborated, "I ended up writing this song — actually every song — alone, and that happened by circumstance. ... I've never written an entire album on my own before, so songwriting is my favorite thing. It's all what makes life make more sense to me." She's all grown up now!
