Heading out for a date with her daughter, Jessica Alba takes Honor Marie out for a treat in Santa Monica on April 1. It was a chilly day despite the sunshine, and Jess stayed bundled up in a white jacket (like Paige Premium Denim's Vermont Jacket in White) over a long slouchy tee (Joes Jeans' Blake Tee in Charcoal is a great basic) and ankle length Stella McCartney ombre jeans (love the flattering fit of The Battalion's Motorcycle Legging in Slate, sans dye effect). Black flats, a heavy duty diaper bag-purse combo (Linea Pelle's Dylan Folding Tote Executive in Espresso can work as a tote, overnight bag and more for busy moms and singles) and a fun printed scarf (love the whimsical design of A Graves' Colt 45 Scarf in Pink) complete the look. What do you think of her ombre leggings?? Surprisingly I'm loving the look – although more exciting footwear could have helped! For those of you who are fans of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Jess appeared on this week's episode assisting in rebuilding a home in Texas that was destroyed by Hurricane Ike two years ago. Jess eagerly shared how moving her experience was: “I’m totally inspired. If you have the love, and the capacity to love children, you should just adopt. And I plan on doing it…. My mom grew up around a huge family, and they always wanted more kids, and I was like, ‘Why don’t you just adopt?’” No word yet on how Cash feels about the potential edition to their family!

I'd wear the leggings if they were regular length, not ankle. The ombre and the cropped length shorten her legsguest on Apr 05 2010 @ 07:44 PM
