Seen shopping in Beverly Hills on February 28, Ashlee Simpson stayed quiet and shied away from the photographers' questions, for a sunny day of solitary shopping. Wearing medium wash jeans tucked into black boots with a navy tee and black sweater, Ashlee was quite bundled up for being in LA! But what might have been most noticeable about her outfit are her bright red sunglasses… looks like Sally Jesse Raphael's trademark look might have been Ash's shadespiration!

Ashlee has also been in the middle of romance rumors this week, with Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz publicly denying the fact the he and Ash are an item. While it's true, the troublesome two have been seen kissing and holding hands recently, Pete says that it is definitely nothing serious. He tells Rolling Stone that "maybe in a different universe, we'd be some hot couple, but not in this one. I'm attracted to creative people and train wrecks, and there's no shortage of that in Los Angeles." So what are you saying Pete, that Ashlee's not creative? Hey, he said it, I didn't.
