Wow. I don't know whether I was more surprised to see Victoria Beckham wearing a dress that isn't black with a body-skimming silhouette, or whether she just seemed excited to brush off the slightly basic looks she's been sporting lately. One thing is for sure - this is a look that VB wanted us to notice! Wearing an altered strapless Giles Fall 2009 reptile print mini dress (for similar, more casual and affordable options, try Sky's Ronce Dress in Gray or Karina Grimaldi's Isadora Mini Dress in Triangle Orange Print) with Gucci's Fall 2009 thigh high boots, VB worked some super intense eye makeup, a big bracelet (like CC Skye's Hinge Bracelet in Black) and a pair of diamond studs (check out Rachel Leigh Jewelry's Estelle Stud Earrings in Silver). What are you thinking about this ensemble of hers, readers - is she workin' the Vivian Ward boots? Before it was announced that Ellen DeGeneres would be replacing Paula on "Idol" this year, Victoria stepped in as a guest judge at auditions. However, she now claims that she never wanted to stay on permanently. She says, "Ellen [DeGeneres] is going to be fantastic. For me, I just love the fact that I could dip in and dip out. It was great. I saw so much talent, and to be a part of making someone's dream come true was exciting for me." She continues, "I found something good to say about most people. I'm a very spiritual person and I believe you get back what you put out there. I believe in positivity. So even if someone was really not that great, they might have a great pair of shoes on that I really appreciated. I can find something good to say about most people." Underneath all of that chic, icy exterior it seems like Posh is a big old softie!
