We haven't seen that many bikini sightings recently, but we have to remember - it still is summer! Britney Spears was spotted enjoying some R&R as she relaxed poolside at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Marina Del Rey yesterday, August 15, while still wearing a ring on her wedding finger (let the speculation continue!). Turning heads and flaunting her figure in a hot pink two piece (check out CoutureCandy's selection of bikinis in a similar hue, like OYE Swimwear's Estelle Bikini in Fuchsia, Marysia Charleston Swimwear's Knot Bandeau Bikini in Fuchsia, or Tyler Rose Swimwear's Melrose Bikini in Pink Flower), Brit accessorized with her fave round orange sunglasses, an embellished baseball cap (check out Royal Plush's Fleur De Lis Crystal Hat in Pink), and a bright blue manicure. She's no stranger for being under the microscope when it comes to body scrutiny, so do you think she's rockin' the suit, or does her body still have a way to go? While the MTV Video Music Award nominations were recently announced, it came as a bit of a surprise that Britney nabbed 7 noms, putting her right up there with Beyonce and Lady Gaga. Some speculate that she was nominated for so many awards to lure viewers to the program. A source says, "We were surprised she got so many nominations because she has been lip syncing, and while she is talented, the terrain has changed so this may be sympathy nominations because she is getting well. Every network is hurting for eyeballs. Britney always draws an audience." Enjoying a night out on the town, Christina Aguilera and husband Jordan Bratman made time for a date at their fav restaurant Osteria Mozza in Los Angeles on August 15. Whatever the occasion, you can expect Christina to arrive in leggings, a loose tank with an edgy graphic, Loubs and hot pink lipstick, and as usual Mamaguilera did not disappoint. She put her 'fit together with booty hugging black leggings (spice things up with Rock & Republic's Melissa Leggings in Black) and a loose Lauren Moshi piano tank (browse CoutureCandy's selection of LM's limited edition tanks, like the hand drawn Peace Girl Swing Tank in White) with a cozy electric blue cardigan keeping her warm (try Splendid's 1x1 Long Cardigan in Sapphire). Christina's worn the white tunic version of the same Lauren Moshi tee in the past, and also rocked the same tank with a more casual 'fit last fall. Which look is your fav? Christina completed her date night look with a striped scarf (try A Graves' Eagle Houndstooth Italian Silk Scarf in Black & White - same contrast colors, better print) and a cute chain strap purse (check out Antoinette Lee's Mia Bag in Navy Shimmer or try Fuchsia if you dare!), adding color with her turquoise nails and flashy blue metallic Christian Louboutins. Not exactly what I'd wear out to dindin with my man, but when does Christina ever play by the rules? As the release of her long anticipated new CD looms closer, Mamaguilera is feeding us more info about what she has in store: “I can’t let too much out the bag too soon. I just can’t, ‘cause I really want you guys to be surprised and to experience firsthand what I’m talking about or what I’m not talking too much about… I think I’m most proud of this work than I’ve ever been, just because I worked with so many amazing and incredibly talented people. [Sia and I] did a lot of work on this record together, and she’s just a complete gem. She’s truly just such a talented force to be reckoned with. Out promoting her new movie The Time Traveler's Wife on the eve of its release last week, Rachel McAdams looked stunning in New York City in two daring looks on August 12 and 13. At the premiere held at the Zigfeld Theatre, Rachel worked the red carpet in a white Emilio Pucci dress with a plunging wrap neckline (try Raw 7's Embroidered Loop Hole Dress in Pure White before summer ends or if you like the draped look check out Interlud's Band Picket Dress in Coral Red). I don't usually like the 80's shoulder pad look but this frock is stunning on her! The hair and make-up also add a sexy, mussed up look that is in perfect contrast to her usual polished look – for example, the way she styled her hair and makeup the following night for The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. For her tv appearance, Rachel looked sophisticated cool in a plum 3.1 Phillip Lim frock with a split keyhole neckline and a flirty mermaid ruffle down the front (try Black Halo's Bustier Detail Pleated Mini Dress in Geranium in the same shade). Again keeping her accessories simple, Rach wore her hair up to show off sparkly teardrop earrings (Kuo Ting's Amethyst and Purple Coral Earrings in Gold would be stunning with a dress in the same shade) and wore the same classy Christian Louboutin "Pigalle" pumps both nights. Maybe she forgot to pack her shoes? I like the classic pointy-toe with the second look but with the white she could have pulled off something more exciting, don't you think? Although Rachel was a little nervous about how the adaptation of one of her fav books would pan out, the movie had a great opening weekend, grossing over $18 million. Brad Pitt is one of the producers, so it can't be all that bad, right? It is getting a pretty horrible rating on RottenTomatoes.com though – only 36% fresh! Would any of you disagree?

Former "OC" cutie-pie Rachel Bilson was spotted enjoying lunch at Joey's Cafe in Los Feliz with a few girlfriends back on August 5, rocking a casual/cute look on this sunny LA day. For her look, Rachel started with a pretty silk blouse (try Gold Hawk's Short Sleeve Ruffle Top in Soft Praline or Nanette Lepore's Enchantress Top in Smoke Grey, both of which are similar) tucked into a pair of Levi's denim shorts (check out Rich & Skinny's Lover Footloose Short in Vintage or Frankie B.'s Zig Z F Short in Mercurio) that she belted with a brown leather belt (like Pellemelle's Loophole Belt in Brown with Gold Tone Buckle). Rachel finished of her 'fit with a pair of her fave Wayfarers, flat sandals, and a green bag with a gold chain (try CC Skye's LuLu Day Bag in Grey). What are your thoughts on RB's look here, everyone? Personally, this totally strikes me as a very Jennifer Aniston-esque ensemble, don't you agree? If you're in the mood for a funny Rachel story, I have one for you! Last week, Rach was mobbed by the paparazzi after she appeared to be a bit tipsy stumbling out of Bardot in Hollywood, acting super annoyed that the photogs were acting so aggressive. That's when a few drag queens leaving a gay club nearby came to her rescue! They defended her from the paps, causing little miss Rachel to laugh. Hilarious! You can check out the pictures here. Stepping out head-to-toe fierce, Beyonce Knowles dined out with hubby Jay-Z at NYC's Nello eatery on August 11. Giving new meaning to utilitarian fashion, B was wearing some kind of crazy necklace that looks like it's made out of recycled mixing spoons (Circadian Studio's Silver Tiny Petals Necklace in Silver is a toned down version). She then picked a safety pin printed jumper with a bubble hem and overall straps, opting for a gray tank underneath to avoid any wardrobe malfunctions (check out Johnson's Wool Crepe Jumper in Taupe or Morphine Generation's Babette Jumper in Black with Splendid's staple Gathered Back Tank in White underneath to create a similar look). Whatever you think about the jumper, B's sexy zippered Giuseppe Zanotti boots are the focal point of this 'fit, followed by her glossy black purse resembling a mod doctor's bag (like CC Skye's Taylor Bag in Black). Lastly, Beyonce wore her sunglasses at night and pulled her frizzy curls back in a ponytail. It's edgy, it's fun, and it's more exciting that B's usual cookie-cutter Balmain picks, don't you think? Earlier this week, B was in Japan with her sister Solange promoting a new handbag line when they were caught off-guard by a massive earthquake. Solange tweeted frantically, “how did i sleep through a SERIOUS earthquake. AGAIN. Japan. wtf?.... wtf! wtf! wtf! my sister said she was scared out of her mind and calling my mom and i was snoring. 6.6????? omg! omg! omg! tsunami watch???" Scary! Needless to say B cut her visit a little short and quickly returned to NYC, where she went straight to dindin with Jay-Z. Nothing like being in the arms of your loved one after a scary sort-of near death experience!

Looking less than enthused, Anne Hathaway chats on her cell in between takes of shooting Valentine's Day in Los Angeles on August 11. Anne got to ride a scooter for her role, which hasn't been disclosed yet. Sounds like V-Day the movie is ripe with talented ladies ranging from Julia Roberts and Jessica Alba to Taylor Swift and Emma Roberts, but the studio is keeping the plot under wraps other than dishing it involves several couples and their Valentine's day pursuits. Hmmm, reminds me of He's Just Not That Into You: packed with talent but no plot! The V-Day stylist dressed Anne in a full black belted skirt with a tucked in white blouse (similar to the shape of Susana Monaco's Pleated Tube Shirt Dress in Black) topped off with a tailored gray jacket (try Nanette Lepore’s Long Ago Jacket in Navy). I like the slouchy boots and black hobo (check out 7 For All Mankind's Alondra Satchel in Black), but I'm not loving the frumpy fringed scarf (instead try something more eyecatching like A Graves' Lock and Key Scarf in Blue) or the lackluster locks. Then again, maybe she has helmet head? The day before Anne turned into a biker babe, she was spotted filming some emotional scenes in Beverly Hills with Topher Grace, whom we can only imagine is her romantic counterpart in the flick. Besides shedding a few tears, they filmed a scene where Anne slaps Topher! Can't wait to see how the film turns out – then again, maybe I can? Do you readers think it'll be worth the wait?

The always sultry Megan Fox was seen turning her stylistic choices up a notch as she headed into a meeting at a hotel in Santa Monica earlier today, August 13, her sophisticated look accentuated with a blood red lip a la Christina Aguilera. For her outfit, Fox paired a curve-hugging white dress (I have a few similar options to suggest, such as Raw 7's Embroidered Loop Hole Dress in Pure White, Juicy Couture's Hard Woven Shift Dress in Tax Free, or Gold Hawk's Floral Eyelet Dress in White) with totally drool-worthy charcoal grey YSL platforms, a black manicure, and a nude leather bag (check out Zambos and Siega's Brooke Bag in Ivory). What are your thoughts on MF's look here - foxy? I guess I am just really impressed because I am so used to seeing her out and about in t-shirts, jeans and a fedora, and never this dressed-to-impress. Already beginning to promote her upcoming dark-comedy horror flick Jennifer's Body, Megan has created a fake PSA about teens facing peer pressure in their everyday lives. A dark and very tongue-in-cheek spot, the PSA falls right in line with the message prevalent in the film. In the PSA, she says, "Let’s face it, high school can be tough and kids can be cruel, picking up on others for just being different. Well, I say f*** ‘em because they don’t know s***. What really matters is being yourself. And if that includes slowly killing and eating every boy in your school, well then I say do it. Because nothing is more important than being who you are." Lauren Conrad was spotted at the Warren Tricomi Salon on Melrose Ave. on August 7 for a quick trim and blow out, looking pretty peeved to spot the photographers waiting for her outside the salon. To start her look, Lauren picked her absolute fave heels, her tan Miu Miu Double Cross Platform Sandals, and paired them with skintight skinny blue denim (like Proportion of Blu's Skinny Jean in Slate Blu), and an oversized striped tee (for similar striped options, try Rails' Deanna Striped Tank in Navy/White or James Perse's dress version, the Stripe Drop Dress in Charcoal). Lauren completed her look with oversized round sunnies and a leather tote (I love the hue of Carla Mancini's Whipstitch Double Handle Tote in Teal). What is your opinion on Conrad's casual salon 'fit? For those of you who thought that the Lauren Conrad sex tape drama had finally subsided, think again! Going back to her favorite shade, Angelina Jolie steps out in a sexy strapless leather Michael Kors dress at the Los Angeles premiere of Brad's epic new flick, Inglourious Basterds on August 10 in Hollywood. Love the side pockets and unique bias seams on the bodice, but if it looks familiar to you it's the same dress Blake Lively wore to the CFDA Awards in June, although she opted for the bubblegum pink version (imagine that on Angie!). To rock the curvy strapless vibe, try Lotta Stensson's Shirred Mini Tube Dress in Black, Rachel Pally's Fortuna Dress in Black, or Graham and Spencer's Strapless Tube Dress in Black with a pair of strappy heels like Angie's Christian Dior stilettos. Ang's stylist put the finishing touch on her 'fit with a giant red CD ring (similar to Femme Metale's Big Cinnabar Ring in Red). As usual Angie accentuated her long lashes and plump nude pout with light makeup, wearing her long tresses in loose, messy waves. I normally don't care for the slightly grungy/unrefined look but I think she makes it hot with the leather dress. Do you think this 'fit is different enough to make Angie standout? In other Ang style news, last month her long-time stylist Jennifer Rade was the victim of a burglary. A source told the NY Post that three boxes of designer goodies were snatched right before Angie came into town last month to take her pick. The source alleges, "Every designer who was sending pieces was trying to send their best stuff… Angelina was just starting the fitting process for pieces to wear when she begins promoting Salt." Neither Jen or Ang have commented on this situation, so I'm hoping the duds have already been recovered. Doesn't the thought of some low-life scoring thousands of dollars of designer digs just make you cringe?

How refreshing to see Hayden Panettiere trying out a new look! Kidding. In all honestly, I can't deny I kind of like HP's baby pink Zac Posen dress she picked for the 2009 Teen Choice Awards in Universal City, CA on August 9. I wish she'd picked something that clings less to the curves she doesn't have, but the sexy shirred center seam and appropriate length help this pass as one of her better looks (create a similar sexy look for yourself with CoutureCandy's sweet frocks like Rachel Pally's Patricia Dress in Guava or Lotta Stensson's sexy Shirred Dress in Black). Do you think it works for her or would it be better for someone else? Hayden also usually sticks to the basics and never seems to do anything special with her hair, but I like the curled tendrils with the princess vibe. Her fav peeptoe nude Loubs are getting a little stale, but I'm not sure what else would work with such a pale frock. Hayden also wore gorgeous Bulgari teardrop earrings and bracelet (try Kuo Ting's Frosted Teardrop Earrings in Sterling Silver with Jessica Elliot's Open Clover Cuff in Sterling Silver). What do you think of the 'fit? HP was also showing off her misspelled tattoo, "Vivere senza rimipianti," which would mean "Live without regrets" if there wasn't an extra "i" in the last word. At least she's trying to look at it in a positive way: "I got a phone call telling me about it [in Cannes], and then I'm running around like a chicken with its head cut off, yelling, "Get me a dictionary!"... It's so typical of something that would happen to me. So mortifying. I'll probably get it fixed, but in the meantime, I'll just say I was putting my own twist on it." Earlier this month, Katy Perry answered a $50,000 question on Millionaire for St. Jude's charity: "What young celebrity has the Italian phrase for "Live without regrets" tattooed on her back, except the Italian word for "regrets" is misspelled?" Not surprisingly, KP got it right, and called her bff Shannon just to use a lifeline. At least Hayden's mistake is worth such a generous charity donation!
