Photographed heading to the Byron & Tracey Salon in Beverly Hills on April 10, Kate Bosworth rocked a pair of Isabel Marant wedge velcro sneakers which have definitely gotten the fashion community buzzing! There's no question that these are a love/hate item, do you think they're fierce or fug? Kate styled her statement shoes with a flowy maxi skirt (SunaharA's Il Vento Skirt in True White is a cool white option), grey lightweight sweater (like Joie's Bronx in Heather Grey), and a pair of brown sunnies. From there, she layered two pendant necklaces (try wearing Satya Jewelry's Shine a Light Necklace 28" in Ruby with Danielle Stevens Jewelry's 10k Gold Plated Chain Monogram Necklace) and wore a gold bracelet on her left wrist. What are your thoughts on this look for Kate, friends? Yay or nay? In other KB news, the blonde actress recently admitted that she'd love to play a role in a movie that's based in the 1920's. Says Kate: "The fashion and the atmosphere looked so exciting. I'd love to play a role of someone from that era. I can't wait for "The Great Gatsby" later this year." Regarding the classic fashion of the era, Kate also added that her father gave her good advice regarding style when she was younger. She added: "My dad was a former executive at Ermenegildo Zegna. I remember him telling me when I was at school that classic style won't ever go out of fashion. At the time I thought, 'You don't know anything!' He was very right and I still appreciate his advice now." Good advice!

I agree. Terrible choice of shoe. Looks like she's wearing an orthopedic boot thing that one normally wears after a break. Makes no sense at all....unless she's walking for hours at a time.guest on Apr 15 2012 @ 03:42 PM
