Just one week from selling their company to Liz Claiborne, C&C California co-presidents Claire Stansfield and Cheyann Benedict, made fashion headlines once again with the unvealing of their new denim collection. The C&C denim collection, due out this summer, encompasses the same style of casual chic that the company's t-shirts are known for.
The collection is designed to coordinate with C&C tops, being offered in an array of colors including, mango, lime green, and neon cherry. In an attempt to stand apart from its competitors, C&C California's denim collection is diverging away from the overplayed, over-embellished, over-trashed denim look of recent years. There will be no bling on these jeans, or holes for that matter. The designs focus on simple delicate details of antique buttons and multi-color embroidery, and they come in four simple cuts: cropped, cigarette, and two boot-legged cuts. You'll be able to find C&C denim in the same department stores and boutiques that now carry their tops.
