Candace Ang's Biography

Candace Ang is a jewelry designer based in Los Angeles. A Vancouver native, Candace was raised by a mother who shared her love of fashion design and a father who inspired an entrepreneurial spirit.

Candance received her BBA in Finance from San Francisco University and immediately launched Supercandy Designs, a line of hair accessories that quickly evolved into a jewelry and accessory company. Through her work with Supercandy, Candace was inspired to study Fashion Design at the Parsons School of Design.

After her studies at Parsons, Candace worked as a design consultant and illustrator for The Gap, Cynthia Rowley and Lee Angel. Miguel Adrover showcased Candace’s accessories in his final runway presentation at New York Fashion Week in 2005.

In 2005, Candace Ang launched her namesake line of jewelry. Her distinctive accessories blend textures and materials in innovative ways. Candace says her study of fashion design inspires her to look at jewelry in unique ways. Fabrics and hand-sewn details are core concepts of her design aesthetic. "I love using materials that are not normally utilized for jewelry,” she explains. “I come from a fashion background, so fabric and hand-sewn details make sense to me."
