For his new collection, Brian Nagourney has fashioned a unique line incorporating freshwater pearls, macramé and semiprecious stones that has been featured in the NY Times Styles and Lucky. The lustrous, asymmetrical pearls are culled from exotic lakes and rivers, yielding beads distinctive for their capricious details. The finished necklaces and bracelets realize Brian's stated goal to infuse traditional, "primitive" methods with a decadent touch of the modern.
The Pearl Choker with Macramé in Pink with Jade is an exquisite design that has a gorgeous contrast of colors and stones. The pink freshwater pearls are knotted on plum blossom green macramé cord for an eye popping contrast. At the center a large, untreated jade stone has a square cut that contrasts the shape of the pearls and adds a decadent touch to the choker. The sliding closure allows you to wear the necklace at your preferred length.
