Asprey, the ultimate authentic British luxury lifestyle house, has opened its magnificent global flagship store, at 167 New Bond Street in London. The 20,000 sq ft of retail space - designed by Lord Foster and decorated by quintessentially British interior designer David Mlinaric - has been two years in the making and features a dazzling blend of the old and the new.

167 New Bond Street, the home of Asprey since 1847 consists of several historically significant listed buildings and the refurbishment has managed to maintain their unique period features whilst incorporating highly creative new architectural and design elements. The centrepiece of the store is a glass roof atrium which creates an indoor space connecting all the various buildings with the introduction of a grand staircase.

The store, one of the largest luxury goods stores in the world, is the perfect showcase for the extensive range of Asprey products including jewellery and silverware, watches and pens, leather goods and silk, china and crystal, ready-to-wear, shoes and fashion accessories.

The team of Asprey craftsmen, experts in making silver, jewellery, leathergoods, engraving and watch repairs, will be based on the top floor of the building and will allow Asprey to extend the bespoke service for which it is renowned.

The opening of the Asprey store in London will be celebrated with a glamorous party on May 18th, attended by a host of celebrities, aristocrats and the stars of the London and international jet set.

The opening of London follows the highly successful pre-Christmas launch of the New York store last December, also designed by Lord Foster and David Mlinaric. The group plans to open a further 15-20 exclusive stores within the next five years in the major capitals of the world. Read More…
