575 Denim - Launched in January by former Sacred Blue designer Frank Mechaly, 575 Denim was an instant hit with Cameron Diaz, J. Lo, Lenny Kravitz and other fashionable celebs, thanks to Mechaly's ability to blend the classic and cutting edge in hand-finished styles that have a personal, one-of-a-kind feel. Spring's well-worn Farmer jean appeared to have spent many a day out in the field, while the Painter was artfully splattered with white Pollock-esque paint drips. For fall, 575 expands with several new styles, including the Coronado Cargo, which has a tiny flap pocket on the outside of the distressed hip pocket, and the Red Salvage, a classic slouchy five-pocket that would make James Dean proud. Prices range from $160 for a mini to $198 for jeans.
