CEO and Creative Director, Darryl Jagga has always had a passion for beautiful clothing that enhances the modern women. Educated in South Africa and New York's FIT, he has worked as a designer for some of the top American labels such as Victor Costa, Calvin Klein, Castle Starr and Chaiken. He also helped launch the very successful CJ label during his years as Senior Designer of Apparel Holdings Group. After he left Apparel Holdings, he traveled and worked extensively in London, Paris and Hong Kong, where he developed a keen sense of the European aesthetic., as well as its Textiles and Construction.
Always fascinated with both Art and Architecture, he continually applies those elements to his designers. Art History was always a subject he excelled in, both in school and in college and he is always seeking to link the old and the new together.
In this, his premier collection for Resort 2010, he takes his inspiration from the south of France, combining the edgy and contemporary lifestyle of today's women with the beautiful and dramatic history of the Southern France culture.
Combining his twenty years design experience, along with an abundance of business acumen, Darryl Jagga is geared to take his collection to extraordinary heights, not only in the USA, but abroad to Eastern Europe, Asia and Latin America, where he sees the best opportunities of retail growth.
